Open MRI

Premier MRI 4U offers the Highest Open Field MRI on the Northshore and allows for a more comfortable experience for the patient. Open MRI comes with an unobstructed WIDE-OPEN viewing angle and the industry’s most accommodating patient table. No other MRI system of its type enables the physician to capture such detailed images. Patients can be confident that our technology will accommodate your needs and provide the best details by offering unmatched patient comfort and clinical results.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) uses a magnetic field and pulses of radio wave energy to create detailed images of the organs and structures inside the body without the use of radiation.

This popular imaging technique can be used as a primary diagnostic tool to provide a quick and accurate diagnosis for your physician. MRI is able to detect injuries, abnormalities, joint disease, and other problems that may be invisible on a regular x-ray. In some situations, this procedure can reduce the need for further diagnostic procedures or invasive procedures, such as exploratory surgery, that may have associated complications.

Patient Comfort:

Our Hitachi Oasis 1.2 Tesla is truly OPEN and allows patients to comfortably see all around them which minimize anxiety and claustrophobia while providing exceptional clinical images.

Patients are welcome to bring a friend or family member to sit with them while the scan is performed. An intercom system and call button allows a patient to talk to the tech during their exam. Also, patients may choose any type of music they would like to listen to during their exam.

**Please find a dedicated MRI image and remove the guy doing an Ultrasound. I recommend using an MRI image of a foot or knee. (since this is linked to an Orthopedic Clinic)
